A note that this Cessna pilot would know that seaplanes would not be allowed to land on the Walensee and would have to fly north to the general aviation airport at Schanis to land with the wheels built in to the floats. The topography for the Weesen region is generally correct although the autobahn N3 skirts the southern side of Walensee rather than partly up the side of the mountains. But one does get the accurate impression of the flood area to the west of Weesen which was reclaimed by the building of Linthkanal.
