Casey Key, FL

We anticipate a Spring 2019 completion of Gulf-to-Bay Guy Peterson houses on Casey Key. Cam one is aimed to the Gulf from the roof of “05” with a new elevator addition over the bedroom on a landing for dolphin/shark viewing and the sanding operation that may be adding to our beach more than its intended Siesta location.

Cam two faces east to the facade of nearly finished “04”, another Guy Peterson creation. These projects have had various components extending over five years.

An exciting new addition is a panorama cam from the tower at 04. It has so much capability in control, scope and speed we encourage you to use the controls on the right side of the screen; you will not be disappointed… the view is a full 360 degree essentially covering from Sarasota to the north to Venice in the south. Enjoy your visit with us… by the way, we are still in NH where you can see our view on Lake Sunapee, freezing over as I write this text.

Been wanting to reach out for awhile…just finished a project around the corner from your old place on Sunapee. Anyway Casey Key looks great on the web-cam.

Have been watching this webcam several times a week since 2017, when we went to Casey Key. This is my happy place. Thank you.

The webcam for the gulf is blocked. Are you taking it away? I hope not as it brings me such pleasure each day. Thank you for allowing us to see your site.

Two great sites for red tide info:

Looks like the gulf coast escapes Dorian. Great news.

Dean. With gratitude! Thank you very much for making it possible for me to see the sunset, waves, clouds, glittery water, weather, boats, (and maybe a pod of porpoises) and the beautiful Gulf shore that I enjoy so much.

Discovered your web came while looking for Hurricane Michael effects on Casey Key.

We live only a 10 minutes drive from Nokomis, but sometimes I am at work at sunset, so now I am smiling and can get my sunset fill.

Kindest regards to you and yours.

Re: red tide end Sept 18….we are in NH but second hand report is that it is the same. Beach cam zoom will not give us the detail of dead fish. Maybe just as well since we expect to be there in a month…d

Thanks for the camera. We live on the Key as snowbirds for the last 20 years. Our family has owned this property since the early 70’s.
It’s great to have this resource when we are not in town and far away.
    Thanks again.

Dean This webcam is great and if you’re down in Nokomis, hopefully, you aren’t without power too long. It’s funny how things look calm on your webcam but so lousy on tv. thanks again.

Our Casey Key cams will stay on while FPL provides power but our generator is off line. There may be hesitations from traffic on the pan cam but I don’t know its capacity. The bay has drained and we see muscle shoals we have not noticed . Most water action may be at night perhaps coinciding with high tide (about 3 ft.) at 1AM, a full moon and the beach shelf a few hundred yards out in the Gulf.
If traffic is bothersome try a straight shot with ID=guest PW=guest.

Thank you, I was just sent your site. Casey Key Web Cams. I can not always make it to the beach. You have given me the option to see the beach every day. I live in North Port now. But have been going to Nokomis beach for 35 years. Lived one mile away from it when I was younger. Again, Thank you so much. Love the beach. Linda DeLoach

Thank goodness! I’ve been truly going through withdrawal the last couple weeks, since the cam feed stopped working. I’m so glad I finally thought to check your site.
I always have the gulf cam open whenever I’m on a computer, at home and at work. I leave it open, and click on it every so often to see ‘my’ little piece of paradise. It calms me.
Thank you so much for providing this cam, I appreciate it so much. And I love the new addition of the tower cam! Fantastic.

Love your beach webcam. Thanks so much for providing this resource. I live here in Sarasota and check your live feed often to see beach conditions. May through July my friends and I fish for tarpon in the gulf from our kayaks. Your webcam is tells us instantly if the conditions are right for us to launch.
