Hey thanks for providing this view of the lake. I have enjoyed this for for a long time now. By the way, LSPA redid their website and there is a new link to the weather bouy. http://www.lakesunapee.org/live-buoy

Please put it back to the way it was, this view is so distorted and just not enjoyable. At least when it was regular view we could take a pic of the sunsets. Sorry…I just had to let you know.

Not certain if those with connectivity problems have had a response – if you enter on this page where it says “view live video feed here” and just hit enter and enter, rather than putting in a password, it has been working for me… am lost when this cam is off line! Happy 2016 to all….

Sorry to see that the web cam for Sunapee still remains off line this winter. The ‘guest’ code doesn’t work. We all hope that Dean is doing well health wise and the webcam will be up soon.

I live a very few doors down from you in the summertime and have greatly enjoyed the webcam. Can no longer access it with the user name and password given. Can that be remedied?

I am truly happy that the Sunapee Webcam is back, but I have to say you don’t get to see very much with this cam. I hope we can get to see the sunsets and the mountain when the snow comes. Missing the larger view.

i surely can, and have appreciated the view, and have kayaked to a wild
island and felt the sun of the lake, and so may sense more than one can
from a photograph, so therefore seeing this view in the middle night
with a big moon and the dancing reflection and the faraway looming
of lands is a human wonder giving moment in this world.
    a computerizing
rectangle in a white outline of a blank page
    shows something unnecessary.
it would surely be more intimate without it, possibly?

Love your lake cam – check it every day from RI. But wonder what happened to your boathouse. Tsunami?

Reminds me of my boyhood summers at Hasting’s Landing. We’d hike down through the abandoned Sioo-Nipi golf course to a point just about where the cam is today. Can anyone believe that I stood on the beach at Hastings on a wavy, sunny day, and prayed to be whisked away to any intersection with a Coke machine, honking traffic, excitement, lights, … camera? Be careful what one wishes for — and, I suppose, what memories we can’t erase. Do you say “drop-off” or “go-down”?

    Hi Harry!

You can get a fairly good idea of wind direction and speed at http://sunacom.com/weather_rapidfire.html

Thanks for taking the initiative to place a webcam facing the West and most importantly, the weather. I’m the sailor you see (Flying Scot 5088) tacking “here and there” off your shore in the late afternoon. I live 6 miles away in South Newbury and keep my sail boat at the Landing Boat Club in Blodgetts. Your web cam gives me the glimpse needed to determine suitability for sailing.

Now if there was a flag in the frame, I’d have wind speed and direction?

    Thanks,

    hgs

My friends and family and I are all enjoying the new format on your Sunapee webcam. I’m surprised to see so few people or sailcraft or snowmobiles out on the ice. Is the ice still not safe?
